Health Service of Castilla-La Mancha Health Service of Castilla-La Mancha (SESCAM) is the institution responsible for health management in the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain). Since January 2002, Castilla-La Mancha manages health care for Social Security. Law 8 / 2000 of 30 November establishing the Health Service of Castilla-La Mancha (SESCAM), organizational structure and functions as set out in Decree 1 / 2002 of 8 January. The Health Service of Castilla-La Mancha, as part of the National Health System, is based on the principles of universal coverage, equity of access and public funding, with the aim of providing more assistance modern, approachable, effective and higher quality.
