The sea and the challenges of the new millennium

Dear Friend, I would like to acknowledge the interest in my article, and I want to make some clarifications: first express that I am not a scientist or scholar on the subject, I am the only maritime activity as officer of the Navy of my Pais (Venezuela) and as a teacher of different levels, trying to inculcate in my students the need to preserve our planet for generations and I stress the importance of the Kyoto Protocol.
As inhabitants of a country with low polluting activity in relation to developed countries, I am concerned that everyone understands the importance of the protocol in question.
I have been looking on the topic of fusion of the poles and I understand that might not be as accurate is that the merger could produce a catastrophic rise in water level, for this I refer you the following compilation of some views on it .
